The perfect respite from your busy Silicon Valley day, this furnished apartment is a 7 minute walk from Castro Street with its shops and restaurants, plus the Caltrain and VTA stations, from which you can go throughout Silicon Valley or up to San Francisco. There are also numerous tech company shuttles, like the Big G, the Big A, the Big M, plus smaller companies like Symantec. Also nearby are major thoroughfares like El Camino Real and California Ave, while highways 101, 85, and 280 are about 5 minutes away.
The apartment has every amenity you need: a modern fully-stocked kitchen, TV with cable, wifi, workspace, comfy bed, updated bathroom, and air conditioning (portable unit, vented through a window). While we don't have on-site or garage parking, plenty of parking is available on the street. There are private laundry machines reserved for this unit in the building. (Zillow says they are shared, but that's not correct. There are laundry machines reserved just for this unit.)
For $80/month extra, we will include two monthly cleanings. Each cleaning costs us $80, so while we lose money on this offer, it enables us to offer more employment to our cleaners, and ensures that you're living in a pristine environment!
We ask for a $125 per month utility fee, which covers all utilities: water, sewer, garbage, recycling, electricity, gas, Internet, and basic cable TV. We also ask tenants to purchase tenant insurance, which typically costs $15 to $20 per month.
Lease terms:
We require a credit score of 720+, verifiable income of 3X rent, proof of having paid rent on-time for the last year, clear background and eviction check, landlord references, and a 1-month deposit. We will sign a standard California Association of Realtors lease agreement.
